HERSparks,
And fire…
She floated above them, suspended in a bubble.
Incased in heat,
In anger.
Red and glowing, like a tiny sun.
She shot straight up, into the sky,
Into the blue.
High in the clouds the moisture sizzled against her skin.
STUPID.
BIG.
GIRL.
She couldn’t see straight.
She couldn’t think straight.
All she could do was feel.
She couldn’t see them, under the waves.
Covered.
Covered by water.
Water.
So she couldn’t join them.
But she could feel Him.
So she could follow them.
So she did.
In her anger.
In her FURY.
She thought about diving down.
Diving in to join them, and letting her anger go.
Letting it free.
Free to boil the seas themselves.
It wouldn’t be hard.
She could be small,
Very small.Small enough to dive in, and not be wet. So tiny.
So very tiny.So the water would be fooled.
Wouldn’t know,
Wouldn’t be wet.
Tiny enough to move between.
To move in the waters shadow.
And in those shades, to touch the right one,
And make it burn.
Just a spark, just a tiny spark,
To a tiny shadow,
And then…
2 blue,
1 clear,
1 Red: Tink.
The red would touch the clear, and let it feel her red, fiery anger. It would catch and glow and then turn red like her, and then the blue would follow and then, spread to the other shadows around them.
From tiny acorns mighty redwoods grow. The water would burn,
And Tink would smile.
No.
That wouldn’t do.
Then everything would be gone.
Gone forever,
And Tink would be…
Tinker would be alone,
Without Peter,
Without anyone.
Just like they wanted,
The ones above.
Tinker fall
Tinker hurt
Tinker silenced
Tinker all alone.
Tinker spun in her globe.
She was so frustrated.
What did she want?
What did Jessie want?
What did? What did…
The globe began to change color.
Red, Green. Red. Green. Red. It became a blur, and suddenly it went Jet Black.
It was still, and then it slowly melted away, like candle wax.
Leaving Tinker alone in mid air,
Black ribbons of wax sizzling from her wings.
Below, Jessie and Peter broke the surface of the sea, laughing, smiling, happy.
And Tinker flew down to join them.
